I hope everyones Thanksgiving was wonderful! I know mine was. Boy was I full! Anyways, I have gotten back into the swing of school and now starting FINALS! Ugh was a dreadful word, but it will all be worth it in the end! If any of you are currently going through finals, may luck be with you! haha!
Now that we have caught up, I decided we should talk about what happened while we were away!
Lets start off with Chanel:
Did you see that Métiers d’art show in Salzburg! It was absolutely wonderful. I really loved this collection. It is probably the best I have seen out of the past collections from Chanel this year. Chanel was starting to get very bland (I know I should not say things like that about Chanel, but its true!) with the same silhouettes. Karl really stepped it up with beautiful feminine attire that was so light and effortless. There was not one piece that I did not like! The pieces from this collection seem very wearable, compared to the other collections. They just seemed more normal. These are pieces that you could really dress up or dress down.
Well there is my speech! Enough of my thoughts, take a look for yourself and see what you think:
Okay lets move on to the Victorias Secret Fashion Show
Alright now raise your hands. Who was jealous of all the models on Instagram? Yeah thats what I thought!
It was so cool to see all the models posting about the show via social media this year. I feel as if the show this year has gotten more social media attention than years past. Two models that could not make it this year were Cara Delevingne and Kendal Jenner, as they were in the Chanel show on the same night!
From what I saw the show looked absolutely amazing, especially with the lineup of amazing singers that included: Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheren, and the new comer Hozier. Not only the singers, but also the wings! I still have yet to see the full show in action when CBS airs it tomorrow night. I will update you on what I thought after I see the show! Im so excited to see models walking in underwear, who does not want to see that?!
Those were the main events in my book. Check out what else happened while we were away with these small tidbits:
– Kate Middleton and Prince William landed in New York for about 3-4 days. It will be interesting what Kate will wear and the effect of selling out the product will have!
– Black Friday and Cyber Monday happened! What did you get? Let me know in the comment section below!
-House of DVF was last night! What did you think of the show?
-Michelle Obama was beautiful in Monique Lhuillier for the reception of the annual Kennedy Center Honors gala at the White House!
Well I hope you are all caught up now! Ill let you know how finals go!
Have a good week!
