Blazers and Slippers

A Much Needed Wear

Hello all,

I hope the week has been treating you all well! I just wanted to share a new outfit that will be in my rotation for a while.

When I woke up this morning, I thought about what I hadn’t worn in some time. After scanning the mass amounts of clothes I need to rid my closet of, I found this herringbone Topman blazer. I knew that I could make this work well with a pair of jeans, T-shirt, sweater, and some killer Céline slippers. I guess I didn’t wear this blazer too much because I felt it was overpowering, however, I am in that “so what” mood and it seems to be working well for me! After wearing this, I found that people will stare at you more when you adorn a blazer, so own it!

The slippers are also an item that I have not worn in a while either, so it was nice to re-wear clothing that needed some love. As stated in my previous post, I think its is great to envision new ways of wearing what you already own.

This was the perfect day for blazers and slippers!

This dog was my little model for the day. I knew we had to get a picture together :). Thank you random dog for making my day even better.

Exposed brick always provides the best backdrop for photos! This happened to be taken behind Nuance Chocolate shop in Fort Collins. It is a must for any chocolate connoisseur.
