I hope you all had a restful and fun thanksgiving last week. I can only image the amazing dishes that were served throughout your homes!
Speaking of food, I visited some local eateries in Fort Collins today. It was a bit of a whim, but was totally worth it. My friend Sofia Pappas and I were trying to decide on a coffee shop other than Starbucks. Soon we found a place online called Bindle Coffee. When we got there, the place looked like a little village of cute stores! Turns out, it is a place called Jessup Farm Artisan Village.
Now as I was writing this, I completely forgot that Bindle has been in the news recently.
Bindle has a little barista by the name of Adler aka “World’s Youngest Barista”. His video went viral when he made a cappuccino. A cappuccino at 3 years old! How cute is that!
Now that I remembered this, I am even more involve with this artisan village.
Bindle is so cute! It looks as if you stepped into a small little cabin that happens to make the best pastries and coffee ever. I mean just look at our order:
That apple tart was the softest and most delectable dessert I have had to date. It was expertly paired with a hot chocolate. Sofia went for the scrumptious (and flowerless) chocolate brownie with a latte.
Needless to say, Bindle is a new favorite.
After coffee, we stopped into a clothing store just steps away from Bindle called Hey Day. In my opinion it was like walking into a miniature Anthropologie. It was filled with everything including clothing and lifestyle goods.
The adventure had been going well and we were just about to leave, when we noticed a bakery next to Hey Day. It was called Lovif. Of course we had to walk in. Again, it was a great idea as we ended up munching on more savory and sweet items.
I went for a spinach ricotta croissant with an apple spice cider. My mouth is watering as I read those words. The ladies that work in Lovif are so lovely! They make you want to stay and eat food for hours. That being said, when we were leaving, they said to wait as they gave us free gingerbread men cookies. Being that today was national cookie day, they were giving free cookies for everyone!
I think we have officially found our new study spots. Im just glad we found them before they become the popular places to study. Sofia and I can be the ones to say, “oh yeah we found it first”. Just kidding (sort of), but I want these places to get as much business as possible. Please go take a visit, you will not be disappointed.
