MONOCHROME // BLUE
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I’ll tell you, these last two weeks have been insane with tests, assignments, and the FASHION SHOW. Oh yeah, I may not have told you about this yet. Well, every year CSU holds an annual fashion show for the graduating senior’s collections. This year, I had the incredible opportunity to work with a team behind the scenes to produce this show. I am happy to report that the show was a major success and we SOLD OUT!
Along with that, I also had a garment featured in the Junior level draping section. We were to make a garment from used parachute material. That was fun, but I never want to use that fabric again. Talk about a pain in the ass as that fabric is extremely difficult. However, with hard work comes success, and my garment turned out just how I wanted and it walked in the show.
A major thank you to everyone who worked on the show, the sponsors, and the judges.
All that aside, I am now winding down a bit and have been a tad lazy (rightfully so). However, it is a new week, which means I have a new outfit to share with y’all.
For today’s look, I chose to show a casual off-duty outfit that you’d find me wearing on a day-to-day basis.
Casual and chic is usually what I go for with an off-duty look. I was going to wear a white henley with jeans, but I thought it was a little plain. That’s when I remembered Rain Boutique happened to have a CP Shades shirt that would work better with the outfit I already had on. Since I work there, I just popped in to use the shirt for the shoot. However, I am getting this shirt in a gray color for fall that Kristin (my boss) ordered for me from our trip to NY.
From this, my look was pretty monochromatic in terms of blues, which I am not opposed to as I love the color blue! I think the colors worked seamlessly against the backdrop of Fort Collins.
I hope you all enjoyed this look. Have a fantastic week ahead. Also, thank you to Miranda Sober for taking these amazing photos.
