NEW YORK PART 3 // THE LAST DAY
I hope you all have had a restful and relaxing week. As I stated in my last post, I was headed off to Paris. This, however, was not the case. Those of you who follow me on social media, know that I had to skip out on traveling to Paris this week due to some health issues.
I left for Paris last Sunday, and on the way to Atlanta, I felt extreme pressure in my abdomen. I didn’t want to say anything and waited out the pain to see if it would go away. The closer it got to the time of departure from Atlanta, the pain got worse. That’s when I told my mom that we had to go home. She completely understood and we flew back to Denver.
After getting home and a week of seeing doctors, I learned that I passed another (yes, I have had one already) kidney stone. The pain I’m experiencing now is most likely due to residual pain from the kidney stone.
What a fun spring break.
That aside, I wanted to share the final installment of the New York series with y’all! Let talk a little less about kidney stones and more about why we are here.
On the final day of our trip to New York, Kristin and I ventured off to Theory. Most of us reading this may already know what Theory is, but for those who don’t, Theory is a brand that has been around for quite some time. In my opinion, it is a brand that all of us should have in our wardrobe.
Theory is widely known for their basics, sharp tailoring, and clean lines. This is also the case when it came to visiting their showroom in the trendy neighborhood of Chelsea. A space reminiscent of something you would read about in Architectural Digest. Needless to say, this was a showroom for the books.
From Theory, we took a cab to Coterie! Coterie is a market where multiple brands show in one big space. There we walked for hours from vendor to vendor and picked up the most intriguing pieces for fall. We also found new brands to try in our store! P.S. we will start carrying sunglasses pretty soon so stay tuned.
New York was one for the books and I had such a wonderful time. Thank you, Kristin, for such a wonderful experience.
I hope you all enjoyed the New York Part 3 segment! Thank you for following along!
Have a great weekend.
