Another week down, a few more to go!!

Denver Style Blog

School is quickly coming to an end, and summer will be here before we know it. However, with school coming to an end means more and more work piling on top of each other. I am so excited to be working on my final projects, one of which will be a Chanel Jacket in my draping class. I will share that jacket with all of you soon!!

Along with all of that, I’m thinking that when school ends, I am going to try and leave for Paris again. IF, I can get a cheap ticket!! So let’s see what happens.

Now that I have updated you on my life as of late, let’s take a look at this week’s outfit.

Madeworn t-shirt

I recently collaborated with Tula, a local boutique in Fort Collins. Tula stocks some of the most wonderful brands from Rag & Bone to Anine Bing. Along with these amazing brands, they also carry vintage band tees from Madeworn. When I saw them, I immediately thought of an outfit that would work.

Madeworn handcrafts each individual shirt to make it look vintage and to have a history. The shirts are extremely rock and roll, so I wanted to bring the juxtaposition between rock and sophistication to an outfit. This is where my suit came into play.

I paired this fantastic suit with the Rolling Stones Madeworn shirt and found that I could wear this outfit over and over again. When I first thought of the concept, I knew that it could look completely horrible, or work just how I wanted it to.

Sure enough, these images make me smile every time I see them. Fashion is supposed to be fun and is something enjoyable that lets you have a voice. If you can’t say how you are feeling in words, say it with clothing.

I hope you all enjoyed this outfit. I encourage you all to go out and experiment with different pieces to find something new!

Thank you again to Tula for letting me test my creativity.
