I hope you have been extremely well! I know I have. Not only did I have a snow day, but I am so excited to share this post with you today.
Last week I did a little photoshoot with photographer McKenzie Coyle and writer Zara DeGroot. This was quite the collaborative effort for all three of us, as we all are utilizing these photos for our publications. Zara is the creator of Singular which is a publication where creatives can share their stories. As for Mackenzie, she is a photographer who has recently created a beautiful website featuring her photography and blog. Both had interviewed me for their publications, so take a look at their sites to see them!
This shoot was incredible, and I just loved all the creative energy that all of us brought to the shoot. I enjoy being surrounded by creative people because it gives me a stronger passion for what ever I might be doing. I am happy to say I have new friends, thank you Zara and McKenzie.
For this look, I wanted to provide simplicity. The shoot took place at Jessup Farm, which you may remember I wrote about before. This place exudes simplicity so it was nice to have both in one place. Once again, going back to my love of minimalism. White and black are a must, but its nice to throw a bit of brown within. You may all remember my Banana Republic coat from this post, but I wanted to use it again because it is such a stunning piece.
I am in love with this picture. The silver and white are clean and elegant. It makes me want to buy this watch…Oh wait 🙂
I need to get my shoes polished. However, I do like the worn look of them!
Thank you again to Zara and McKenzie for making this shoot possible! Here’s to more adventures and photoshoots. Stay tuned for their posts.
I hope you all enjoy the day.
