Snow Bunnies

Finals have been done, and I still like I have homework to do. However, that is not the case. Now, it’s about getting the gifts I put off…whoops.

I hope the season is treating you well. Can you believe that Christmas is this week? I don’t know if any of you feel this way, but I feel that last year had more Christmas spirit. Not to say that it didn’t exist this year, I just feel more meh about it.

This feeling could possibly come from that fact that I have stayed in Fort Collins longer than I have in years past. I used to go home all the time, but this year I limited my visits. I guess you could say I can’t wait to spend time with my family because I miss them so much.

I am sure when I get home, I will feel the Christmas spirit 🙂

That aside, I want to share an amazing collaborative post I did with Goldyn boutique and Hailey and Paige of The Middle Closet. We met up at Goldyn in the Highlands and shot some amazing looks in the bitter cold. Though we were cold, Goldyn kept us warm with some incredible outerwear pieces.

Hailey is a major fashionista! I had never met her in person till this moment, and boy is she beautiful. She has an incredible eye for style. She chose to wear this stunning blue patterned cloak. Then she had these tall boots on and walked through the snow with no problem. Meanwhile, I was slipping and sliding in my two inch Saint Laurents.

I decided to wear this sick Helmut Lang bomber jacket with faux fur (now on sale!!). It had to be the best jacket I have ever worn. Needless to say, with Hailey’s blue cloak and my bomber we looked like chic snow bunnies taking on the snow packed city.

If you need those chic last minute gifts go visit Goldyn in the Highlands. Also please check out Hailey’s blog The Middle Closet. You won’t be disappointed!
