Son Jung Wan Fall/Winter 2018 // NYFW Day 3
On the third day of NYFW, I was invited to the Son Jun Wan Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show! I was thrilled when they asked me to come as Wan’s clothes are so unique and fun.
I was supposed to be standing in the back of the show. However, I ran into a fellow Proenza intern Jane. Jane and her aunt ended up hooking it up with front row seats at the show! I got to see the clothing up close, and I couldn’t have been happier. Thank you, Jane!
The show was filled with texture and bright colors of yellow, pink, and blue. However, my favorite look has to be these jeans with fur trim. They are so out there, but I would rock the s**t out of those. The structure of the garments was incredible and all the intricate details shined through.
For this third day, I wanted to play with pattern, so I paired this houndstooth topcoat with a plaid blazer and herringbone pants. The lovely thing about this city is that you can dress up and no one asks “why are you so dressed up?”
I couldn’t find all the items I wore exactly, but below are some items that are similar to my look. I love the layering aspect of a coat on top of a blazer it adds that extra something. This extra something was what I needed to make a statement on the streets. I even ended up getting photographed, but I can’t find the pictures anywhere online.
I hope you all enjoyed this fashion week outfit/review!
Have a great weekend!
