Vail Street Style
Happy Monday everyone!
As some of you already know, I ventured to Vail with McKenzie Coyle for a collaborative photoshoot. I knew that Vail would be the perfect setting to show off some great winter staples. Over the next few posts, you will be seeing other outfits we shot there.
This first outfit happens to be my favorite due to the coat I was wearing. I wasn’t sure if the coat would work, but after seeing these photos, I am so happy I chose to wear it.
I wanted to keep this look classic, but add a bit of edge by pairing it with a boot and cuffed pants. This season, I am loving the cuffed pant with boots or flats. It makes an outfit all the better! I usually roll up my pants however high I want to, depending on what shoe I am wearing.

How fantastic is Vail? It is extremely storybook. Just look at that background! Needless to say we took quite a few photos in front of this building (chalet for that matter).
I added a buffalo plaid shirt to give the outfit a bit of pattern. Pattern is a great way to break up a solid colored outfit.
Who ever said you couldn’t wear blue with black, and black with brown was mistaken. I think you should forget rules and just wear whatever you feel looks good. It is your outfit and you have the choice, so enjoy it.
This is one of my favorite shots from the day. It is a effortless power walk! How can you really have a favorite though when they are all so good.
The color combination of this outfit is perfect for a winter look! I always think of winter as the time to wear deep saturated colors.
Thank you McKenzie for the fabulous shoot, and making my dream become a reality.
I hope you all enjoyed this post! Have a great week.
