Vintage Coat // Flatiron District
Fall has arrived and with it came a vintage coat!
I’ve been dying for this fall weather to come, and now it is finally here! I feel bad for those of you don’t live in Colorado, as you are missing the leaves that are turning into beautiful autumnal saturations of burgundy, orange and yellow.
Its the perfect time to start wearing this vintage Navajo coat I bought at Goldyn before I went to fashion week. Let’s just say this coat was a KNOCKOUT at fashion week and it was hard for me to find anything this similar. I mean hello it’s vintage! I lucked out.
The tones in the jacket are perfect as they blend with the leaves and is an excellent layer to throw on when there is a crisp fall chill in the air.
I got stopped so many times by people asking about my jacket and complimenting me on it. As you can see in these photos, I loved every minute of wearing it.
I paired this vintage coat with a pair of jeans I ripped up from J.Crew; the Sam Edelman mules I have worn on this blog so many times because they are my best friend; a silver buckle belt, and lastly, this t-shirt that my boss at Rain gave me as a parting gift. We all loved Lionel Richie, so this is a personal touch to my outfit that is special to me.
Final thoughts here, I just loved the Flatiron District so much. I think this is one of my favorite spots in NYC for people watching and wandering around. It’s so open and airy which is rare for New York (minus Central Park). The sun shines so brightly, and rays of light bounce off one building to another creating a golden triangle like atmosphere.
Happy fall y’all. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Go jump around in a pile of leaves!
Sincerely,
Jack
