Are you seeing your breath right now?
Yep. It is still freezing. I got in my car this morning trying to get it to warm up, meanwhile my breath was lingering in the air. That is how most of my mornings go as of late. And on top of that, I ran out of windshield wiping fluid…Dad you are probably reading this, so let me know if we have any at the house. Thanks.
To combat this winter chill, I went for a chic and bundled look by layering some amazing pieces. I love layering because if the day gets warmer, you can gradually take pieces off.
As most of you know, I have a fondness for minimal looks. For this outfit, I wanted to wear black, but add subtle pops of color with the emerald green Equipment sweater and camel topcoat. I love an all black look, but its always nice to add some color so its not all the same.
We couldn’t just leave the look the way it was. It needed some great accessories! Some of you may or not remember that I purchased this Shinola watch for myself this past Christmas. I must say this is my favorite watch by far. It not only looks like a watch, but also a gorgeous piece of jewelry with the metal links. I like leather bands and all, but the links make it look more delicate.
To top off the look, I picked out this arrowhead necklace by Tat2 Designs at my favorite Fort Collins boutique, Rain. Rain has some of the best jewelry, they also have a great selection of women’s clothing, including the green Equipment sweater I am wearing.
Thanks to my friends at Rain Boutique in Fort Collins for supplying me with the amazing pieces! Also thank you to my roommate Sarah for taking the pictures of me in the alley next to Rain! Im sure those people that walked by where like, “what is he doing?”.
Next time any of you are in Fort Collins, go check out Rain Boutique!
Well that is all for today friends. I hope you have great week.
